For this work, students were asked to create a "driving Constraint"--in other words, a modeled gearshaft. Now, you can imagine this activity being rather easy--just insert all objects in place, but it is rather much difficult! The gearshaft introduced students many new and different tools that seemed unknown to all in the class! Likewise, the Gearshaft itself had to be driven--in other words, it had to function as its gearshaft moved the rack placed below.
